I had a great experience at this Persian restaurant! The quality of the dishes was outstanding - the flavors were vibrant, and each dish was cooked to perfection. The staff were also friendly and attentive. The portion sizes are huge, we couldn't finish all the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Persian cuisine in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

I cannot find enough words to describe how tasty the food is and how beautiful the place is! I was so excited to finally find Zeytoon Parvarde in the U.S., and the taste is just wonderful! Sophia took great care of us during our visit, and I also enjoyed the atmosphere in addition to the friendly staff. The food is another story altogether—it's just as good as the authentic Persian kabab you can find in Iran! The saffron rice is fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it alongside my kabab. Please visit this place and enjoy your time there. It would be impossible not to come back! Thank you for such a great experience!

The server was excellent; she was patient and helped explain the menu. She was prompt and attentive. The food was excellent, especially for the reasonable prices. They gave us a lot of food. I would come back again, if I lived in Chicago.

Absolutely loved Shemroon Kabab House! The Soltani was perfectly cooked — The koobideh was especially well-seasoned and melted in my mouth, and the barg was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, just like you'd expect from authentic Persian cuisine. The service was great, and the warm, friendly atmosphere truly reminded me of hometown. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Iranian food!

I recently had dinner at an Iranian restaurant, and the experience was a mix of highs and lows. For appetizers, the Aash-e-Reshteh soup was absolutely superb—creamy, perfectly presented, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients seemed to dance on your palate, making it an exceptional start to the meal. The marinated olives were also a standout, with their perfect balance of light sweetness and tangy sourness. However, the Maust Mousier and eggplant delight didn’t quite live up to our expectations; they lacked the flavor depth we were hoping for. Moving on to the main course, the Barg Kabab was fantastic—organic, traditional, light, and juicy. It was both delicious and easy to digest, making it a true highlight of the evening. The Lamb Koobideh, on the other hand, was just average, and the Bakhtyari Kabab was a bit of a letdown due to its lack of flavor and dryness. Not to mention that the portions were incredibly generous, easily large enough to satisfy even the hungriest diners. The interior design of the restaurant was beautiful and eye-catching, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, especially the restrooms, which was a huge plus. The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet, adding to the overall pleasant experience. With some adjustments to a few dishes, this place has great potential and highly recommended.

PHENOMENAL. We are Iranian And this was TOP TIER. The koobideh was phenomenal. The meat was juicy, flavorful and PERFECT temp. We sat outside and enjoyed the vibes. They had a great wine list and AMAZING selection of food. I wish this place was more packed. It needs a MEGA attention. I was just visiting, but I will 10000% be back when visiting the city.

I had the Soltani Kabob at Shemroon Restaurant, and it was absolutely outstanding! The meat was perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. If I ever visit Chicago again, Shemroon will undoubtedly be my first choice. Highly recommended!

Outstandingly delicious dishes! Husband ordered a traditional dish (not planned) and the owner showed him how it is enjoyed. The lamb shank dish I ordered -- falls off the bone scrumptious. Vera was our server -- very attentive and knowledgeable of the dishes we ordered. It's our first time at Shemroon, still so many dishes to try and enjoy! Thank you
